Advanced longevity testing at Longevity Gyms
Physician Led Diagnostics

Advanced Longevity Testing.

Most testing tells you whether you are sick today. This tells you where you are heading, and what to do about it while there is still time to change the answer.

Everything at Longevity Gyms begins here. We establish what is actually happening in your body, interpret it against your goals, and build the protocol from that rather than from an assumption. Then we retest, so you can see whether it worked.

Why It Is Different

A normal result is not the same as an optimal one.

Standard bloodwork is built to catch disease. It compares you against a reference range wide enough to include people who are quietly heading somewhere they would rather not go.

Standard Testing

Built to rule out disease.

  • A narrow panel, ordered when something already feels wrong
  • Compared against a population range, not against you
  • Returned as numbers, often without interpretation
  • A snapshot, rarely repeated to show direction
  • Rarely connected to anything you can act on that week
Advanced Longevity Testing

Built to show trajectory.

  • A wide picture across systems, ordered before symptoms
  • Interpreted against your goals, history, and performance data
  • Explained by a physician, in a conversation rather than a portal
  • Repeated, so you see direction rather than a single point
  • Connected directly to a protocol you start the same week
What We Measure

Seven categories. One picture.

Biology does not run in isolated compartments, so we do not read it that way. Each category informs the others, and the interpretation is where they come together.

Cardiorespiratory
VO₂ Max, ventilatory thresholds, and training zones. Among the most studied markers in the healthspan literature, and the one most performance work is built around.
In house
Body Composition
Segmental lean mass, body fat, and hydration, measured rather than estimated and repeated so composition change is tracked precisely.
In house
Metabolic
Glucose regulation, insulin sensitivity, lipids, and liver and kidney function. Where the earliest and most modifiable signals tend to appear.
Physician led
Cardiovascular Risk
Advanced markers beyond a standard lipid panel, including particle level and inflammatory measures that a routine cholesterol result can miss entirely.
Physician led
Hormonal
A full hormonal picture including thyroid, adrenal, and sex hormones, read against your symptoms and goals rather than in isolation.
Physician led
Biological Age
How your body is ageing relative to the calendar. A single number you can move, and one of the more motivating things to retest.
Physician led
Genomic
What your genetics suggest about risk, response, and where to focus first. Read once, relevant for life, and used to prioritise rather than to predict.
Physician led
Not everyone needs every category. Depth is decided in your consultation based on your goals, your history, and what you have already had done. We would rather order less and explain it properly.
Three Levels

Start where it makes sense for you.

Each level builds on the one before it. Most people begin at the level that answers their actual question, then go deeper if the results warrant it.

Baseline
Where you stand today

The in house assessment every protocol is built from. Fast, non invasive, and repeatable.

  • VO₂ Max testing
  • InBody body composition
  • Recovery and readiness questionnaire
  • Training zone report

Comprehensive
What is actually driving it

Baseline plus the physician led panel that explains the numbers rather than simply reporting them.

  • Everything in Baseline
  • Comprehensive metabolic and organ panel
  • Advanced cardiovascular markers
  • Full hormonal assessment
  • Physician interpretation and written plan
Results reviewed with a physician
Complete
The full trajectory

Everything above, plus the measures that speak to how you are ageing and where your biology is predisposed.

  • Everything in Comprehensive
  • Biological age assessment
  • Genomic testing and interpretation
  • Extended risk mapping
  • Multi year forward plan
The deepest picture we offer

Pricing is confirmed at consultation, because the right depth depends on your goals and what you have already had done. Testing can be taken on its own or as the entry point to a protocol.

What You Actually Receive

Numbers are the easy part. The reading is the value.

Anyone can order a panel. What changes an outcome is somebody sitting down with you and explaining what it means and what to do on Monday.

  • 1

    A physician conversation

Your results explained in person, in plain language, with the context of your history and goals rather than a portal notification.

  • 2

    A written report

What was measured, what it means, what is prioritised, and what is simply worth watching. Yours to keep and to share with your own physician.

  • 3

    A stepwise plan

The protocol that follows from the findings, sequenced across the four systems, with a defined point at which we measure again.

  • 4

    A retest

The part most testing skips. Without a second measurement you have a data point, not a direction.

How It Runs

From first conversation to forward plan.

Four steps, and none of them end with a portal login and no explanation.

01

Consultation

We start with the question you are actually asking. Your goals, your history, and anything you have already had measured. This is where the right depth of testing is decided, rather than defaulting to the largest panel available.

02

Assessment

In house testing is completed on site, usually in a single visit. Where a physician led panel is indicated, collection is arranged and coordinated for you.

03

Interpretation

Your physician reviews everything together rather than category by category, and you sit down to go through it. You leave understanding your own results.

04

Protocol & Retest

The plan that follows, built across the four systems, with a defined retest so progress is measured rather than assumed.

Questions

About testing.

Do I need all of this?

Almost certainly not. Depth is decided in consultation based on what you are trying to answer. We would rather order less and explain it properly than sell you the largest panel available.

Can I just do the testing without a protocol?

Yes. Testing stands on its own, and you keep the report either way. Many people start here, take the plan to their own physician, and come back later.

What if you find something concerning?

Our physician team reviews all results. Anything requiring prompt attention is raised with you directly, and we can coordinate with your primary care physician or a specialist where a referral is appropriate.

Is any of this covered by insurance?

Most of it is elective optimization and is not covered by standard health insurance. Some diagnostics may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement, and we can provide documentation for submission.

What does biological age actually mean?

It is an estimate of how your body is ageing relative to your calendar age, based on measurable biological markers. It is a useful direction indicator and a motivating thing to retest. It is not a prediction of lifespan, and we will not present it as one.

I already have recent labs. Do I start over?

No. Bring them. We use what you already have, and only add what is genuinely missing rather than repeating work you have paid for.

How long until I get results?

In house testing gives you numbers the same day. Physician led panels depend on the specific tests ordered, and your interpretation appointment is scheduled once everything has returned so you get the full picture at once.

When should I retest?

Most protocols retest at completion, commonly between eight and twelve weeks. Some markers move faster than others, and your plan will say which are worth watching sooner.

Get Started

Reserve Your Consultation.

A conversation about what you are trying to find out, and which level of testing actually answers it. In it we will:

  • Understand the question you are really asking
  • Review any labs or wearable data you already have
  • Recommend the right depth, not the largest panel
  • Explain what each result will and will not tell you
  • Set the point at which we measure again
