A Professional Approach

More than traditional compression boots.

Flowpresso® surrounds the torso, hips, arms, and legs rather than treating only the lower limbs. Multiple chambers inflate and release in a programmed sequence, creating rhythmic pressure across the body while integrated warmth supports the overall experience.

01 · Compression

Sequential pressure

Multiple chambers inflate in sequence instead of applying one uniform squeeze across the entire suit.

02 · Warmth

Integrated heat

Heat is combined with compression, with settings selected for comfort and suitability.

03 · Deep Pressure

Full-body input

The enclosed suit creates a firm, rhythmic experience that many people describe as calming and restorative.

What we do not claim: Flowpresso® does not “detox” the liver or kidneys, remove an unspecified toxin, heal at a cellular level, or replace medical treatment for lymphedema or vascular disease.
Regulatory Context

FDA-cleared, accurately stated.

The regulatory distinction matters. Flowpresso® has FDA Class II clearance through the 510(k) pathway; it should not be described as “FDA approved.”

K223729

FDA Class II

Cleared in December 2023 as a powered inflatable tube massager under 21 CFR 890.5650.

What the clearance supports

The FDA record identifies Flowpresso® as a Class II device and states that it was found substantially equivalent through the 510(k) process.

The cleared labeling describes a device combining heat and compression, intended for use by or on the order of licensed healthcare professionals in rehabilitation, outpatient, and athletic-training settings.

Clearance does not establish every broader marketing claim made about lymphatic drainage, autonomic regulation, recovery, relaxation, or detoxification.

Why It Belongs in Detox

Support fluid movement, without the mythology.

At Longevity Gyms, Detox refers to services centered on circulation, lymphatic movement, heat exposure, and support for the body’s normal elimination pathways. It is not a promise that a suit removes undefined toxins.

Circulation

Mechanical compression

Inflation and release apply external pressure that may support venous return and circulation during the session.

Fluid Movement

Lymphatic support

Sequential pneumatic compression is studied for supporting lymphatic and interstitial-fluid movement in specific clinical contexts.

Experience

Passive recovery

The session requires no exertion and may be incorporated when a lower-load experience fits the goal.

What the Evidence Means

The technology is established. The context matters.

Intermittent pneumatic compression has a substantial clinical literature. Most strong studies concern diagnosed lymphedema, venous disease, postoperative care, or thrombosis prevention—not general wellness use in healthy adults.

General IPC Evidence

Mechanical effects are well described

Sequential inflation and deflation can simulate aspects of the muscle pump and support venous and lymphatic return. That does not mean every compression system has identical settings or outcomes.

Device-Specific Limit

Do not borrow every outcome

Evidence for intermittent pneumatic compression generally cannot automatically prove that this exact suit, heat setting, session length, or wellness application produces the same result.

Our standard: we describe the device, its FDA clearance, and the broader compression evidence separately so none is used to exaggerate the others.
Your Session

Firm, rhythmic, and adjustable.

Your experience is personalized for comfort and suitability. Higher pressure is not automatically better.

Screen and prepare

Disclose relevant health conditions, current symptoms, medications, pregnancy, and recent procedures or injuries before participation.

Suit and settings

The multi-chamber suit is fitted and the compression and warmth settings are selected for the session.

Rest and respond

You remain reclined while the chambers cycle. Pressure should feel firm rather than painful; report discomfort immediately.

How It Fits

One service. Part of a smarter Detox Circuit.

Flowpresso® is selected around the objective and relevant screening—not added automatically because it is available.

Clarify the goal

Start with the outcome or experience you want to support rather than a list of devices.

Review suitability

Circulatory, cardiac, skin, infection, pregnancy, and other considerations may change whether compression and heat are appropriate.

Build the Detox Circuit

If appropriate, Flowpresso® is placed within your Detox Circuit without revealing or applying a one-size-fits-all sequence.

Frequently Asked

Questions answered.

Is Flowpresso® FDA approved?

The accurate wording is FDA-cleared. Flowpresso® received Class II 510(k) clearance under K223729 after the FDA found it substantially equivalent to a legally marketed predicate device.

Does Flowpresso® provide lymphatic drainage?

The suit uses sequential pneumatic compression, a mechanical approach studied for supporting lymphatic and interstitial-fluid movement. We do not promise treatment of lymphedema or assume clinical findings apply identically to general wellness use.

Is this the same as compression boots?

No. Traditional boots primarily cover the legs. Flowpresso® uses a multi-chamber suit that extends across more of the body and combines compression with warmth.

Does the session hurt?

It should feel firm and rhythmic, not painful. Settings are adjustable, and there is no advantage to enduring excessive pressure. Report pain, numbness, shortness of breath, or other unexpected symptoms immediately.

Does Flowpresso® detox the body?

We do not claim it removes unspecified toxins. The liver, kidneys, lungs, and gastrointestinal tract perform the body’s primary clearance functions. Our Detox category focuses on circulation, lymphatic movement, heat, and normal elimination pathways.

Is it appropriate for everyone?

No. Compression and heat require screening. Conditions involving suspected blood clots, acute infection or inflammation, significant cardiovascular concerns, impaired sensation, recent injury or surgery, pregnancy, and other factors should be disclosed before use.
