This explains what information Longevity Gyms collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual thing.

Who We Are
Longevity Gyms operates a non clinical performance and recovery facility at 7030 Hi Tech Drive, Suite 102, Hanover, Maryland 21076. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Longevity Gyms. "You" refers to anyone who visits our website, contacts us, books a session, or holds a membership.
This policy covers the website at longevitygyms.us and the information we collect through it, through our forms, and in the course of providing services at our facility.
Longevity Gyms and the Institute for Human Optimization
This distinction matters and is worth stating clearly.
Longevity Gyms is a non clinical wellness facility. The information we collect here is generally not protected health information, and Longevity Gyms is generally not acting as a HIPAA covered entity in that capacity.
The Institute for Human Optimization is a separate medical practice. Where you receive clinical services through IFHO, including physician consultation, prescribing, or diagnostic interpretation, that information is handled under IFHO's own privacy practices and applicable health privacy law, including HIPAA where it applies.
If you move from one to the other, we will tell you at the point it happens, and information does not pass between the two without an appropriate basis for doing so. If you want to understand exactly how your information is handled in a clinical context, ask us and we will point you to the right notice.
The exact relationship between the two entities, and the circumstances under which information passes between them, should be described precisely here and reviewed by counsel. This section as written is a reasonable framing, not a verified account of your arrangements.
What We Collect
We aim to collect only what we need to provide what you asked for.
We do not ask for information we have no use for, and where a form field is optional we will say so.
How We Use It

- To provide the services you have booked and manage your membership
- To screen for contraindications, so that what we offer you is appropriate and safe
- To send you the guide or resource you requested
- To send you information about our services, where you have opted in and until you opt out
- To operate, secure, and improve our website
- To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Who We Share It With
We share information with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function for us.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to function. Others, where present, help us understand how the site is used or support advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse or delete them. Refusing non essential cookies will not prevent you from using the site.

How Long We Keep It
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then for as long as required to meet legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.

Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop sending you marketing, which you can also do using the unsubscribe link in any email
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Maryland Residents
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act gives Maryland residents specific rights regarding personal data, including the right to confirm whether their data is being processed, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or of processing for targeted advertising or certain profiling.
We honour these requests regardless of whether we meet the statutory thresholds that make the Act applicable to a given business.
If we decline a request, you may appeal that decision by contacting us again, and we will respond to the appeal in writing. Maryland residents may also contact the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.
Whether Longevity Gyms meets the applicability thresholds under Maryland law is a factual and legal question for your attorney. The Act applies to businesses processing personal data of at least 35,000 Maryland consumers annually, or 10,000 where more than twenty percent of gross revenue comes from selling personal data. Most single site facilities fall below both. Honouring the rights anyway, as this draft does, is the safer position.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we hold. Our website is served over an encrypted connection, access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, and our service providers are selected with their own security practices in mind.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under [CONFIRM AGE, TYPICALLY 18]. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will take reasonable steps to tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
